Sock It To Me Zombies

Sock It To Me Zombies

I have always preferred all-cotton socks, as I am allergic to many synthetics. Synthetics also tend to make one's feet perspire. But all-cotton is increasingly difficult to find and doesn't wear as well as synthetics. Someone gave me a pair of these King Cotton Crew socks from Wigwam, and I found them so comfortable that I had to buy more. They are 95% ring spun cotton, 3% nylon, and 2% elastic. Cotton comfort with just enough synthetic to help the sock keep its shape. Like traditional crew socks, these have a ribbed leg with an elastic band at the top. They stay up well, and the elastic is not too tight around the top. The toes have reverse closures, meaning that the seam is on the outside, so it can't rub. The best part is the heavily cushioned foot. The socks are about 1/2 centimeter thick on the bottom, which provides extra cushioning that you can feel.

The extra cushioning and thick fabric does make these socks bulkier than most crew socks. I can't wear them in shoes that fit snugly. But the socks are great in athletic shoes and short boots. The extra cushioning in boots is very welcome when I have to do a lot of walking. The King Cotton Crew is available in white, black, and sweatshirt grey colors, for men and women. White is available in sizes MD, LG, XL, and 2L. Black and grey are not available in 2L. The MD (medium) size will fit women's American shoe sizes 6-10. King Cotton High socks, which come up over the calf, and King Cotton Low ankle socks are also available in white only. The white socks have a black and red logo on the bottom of one sock in each pair. The Black socks have a white logo that tends to come off with washing. Wigwam's King Cotton are super-comfortable socks that wash and wear well.

  1. That's the best I can explain it I think. It was just played after Boston Red Sox home runs in Game 4 of the ALCS and they always play it at my colleges hockey games.
